W3C Background Property Tests

NOTE: The format of this cover page will soon change to reflect test descriptions for each test, as well as creation of test ids. Additional tests will be created soon. As soon as a final test format is defined, this document will adhere to that format. The tests are independent of one another, and contain no intrinsic navigation inside them. They are self-contained and autonomous, so may be navigated in any manner desired. One can "view source" to see names of tests for navigation purposes. For these tests in TNG format, click (NOT YET READY) here. For now, tests below are XHTML 1.0 Strict, so your browser must support this capability to run these tests. There is a sample test of a different format at the end, as well as some pure XML and HTML tests.

The CSS3 Background Module referenced in these tests is here (dated 12 June 2002). NOTE: I put some additional letters at the end of some elements to test certain properties more effectively. Must support "gif" to run these tests; "jpg" also included, and other formats will be included soon.
